Liza Minnelli is the daughter of Hollywood legends Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli, and she holds the distinction of being the only Oscar winner whose parents were both Academy Award winners. Garland received the short-lived Academy Juvenile Award for her performances in The Wizard of Oz and Babes in Arms, while Vincente Minnelli won Best Director for Gigi. Liza earned her own Academy Award in 1973 for her performance in Cabaret. She is also one of the few performers to achieve EGOT status, winning an Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and Academy Award.
