Mounjaro

Mounjaro, Eli Lilly’s blockbuster diabetes drug, recently became the world’s top-selling medication, generating nearly $10 billion in quarterly sales. The drug surpassed Merck’s cancer treatment Keytruda and also outsold rival diabetes drug Ozempic. Mounjaro contains tirzepatide, which works by targeting two hormones involved in blood sugar regulation and appetite. The extraordinary success of these drugs reflects the rapidly growing global demand for a new generation of diabetes and weight-loss medications.
